Why see a psychologist? Who sees a psychologist?
Everyone can use some help at some times in their lives with something. A psychologist is a person who is trained to help.
Often we don't know exactly what the problem is. We know things are not right, but we don't know how to fix it. More often we know how things should be but we don't know how to get there.
A psychologist has training in observation, diagnoses, and the latest methods to assist in change, to help you understand the problem, and help in ways that get people out of their ruts, or feelings of frustration, or even worse, feelings of anxiety, depression, or even despair. When nothing you try seems to be working, things can be extremely frustrating!
What 's unique about the ways in which a psychologist helps? Can't anyone give that sort of help?
